Fitbit aria keeps coming up with an error message. Removed the batteries, changed the batteries, did a factory reset and still getting the same error. It’s worked for a year but has stopped working for no known reason. Please help! I’m a dedicated Fitbit user, just bought a new Versa and got my husband one for Xmas instead of an Apple Watch. And now this stupid scale doesn’t even work. Very frustrating!

@Lisad123 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear about the error message that your Aria scale keeps displaying even though you have restarted it. In order to better assist you, please provide more details about the error message. Does it appear when your Aria tries to sync your data? What are the words that the error displays?
Looking forward to your response!

I'm having the same issue. My Aria suddenly stopped tracking after about 9 months. I have followed both instructions at fitbit.com/setup through my app and the desktop version. I have made sure Aria is paired with my bluetooth. I have removed the batteries and put them back in. The desktop version of fitbit.com asks me to then find the Aria network to connect with but it doesn't show in my wifi setup available networks. Even though I've clicked the wifi button in the battery compartment. While trying to sink from the fitbit app, it asks to click the wifi button in the battery compartment, which I do, and can see the setup message on the front of the scale, then the app searches for the wifi signal but a message flashes at the bottom of the fitbit app that says "an error has occurred. Try again later." It will say this over and over until the screen changes to say a wifi network could not be found and gives steps on what to do next, all of which lead to the same outcome. I have also tried clicking the "enter network manually" link but it will kick me out before I can get everything entered or if I do get it entered fast enough it will still kick me out. I've been trying to figure this out off and on for months. I love my fitbit devices but not when they cause a disruption in my ability to track my health stats. Thanks for any help you can provide!

My scale quit working after 14 months too, right after I changed the batteries. It gives an error message and will not work at all. The Fit Bit scales are junk, DO NOT PURCHASE A SCALE! Too expensive to only last 14 months and Fit Bit does nothing to stand by their products. I just purchased two watches for our kids to use, they don't sync to their dashboard at all. I'm done with Fit Bit products, never again.

@Lisad123 @Ntca I'm sorry for the late response. However, I'd like to thank you for letting me know the issue that your Aria scales are displaying.
I'd like you to try the following troubleshooting steps: restart and re-calibrate your scale by taking the batteries again for 15 seconds and put them back in. Once you've done this, weigh yourselves 5 consecutive times. Finally, make sure that your scales are placed on a hard surface and you are stepping on them barefoot. Let me know how it goes.
@jfs8339 Welcome aboard to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry for the late response and I'm also sorry to hear that your Aria scale is no longer under warranty. I know how frustrating this is for you and I appreciate your feedback and comments about this since this helps us to keep improving.

Same issue here. Getting error message. Took out batteries. Changed batteries. Scale is on hardwood floor. Weighed myself 5 consecutive times. Same error each time. Any other suggestions?

There is another thread with the same complaints. Nothing is happening. Fitbit isn’t going anything.
Keep posting and voting. Hopefully someone at Fitbit will eventually take notice.
