Aria not syncing at all

My aria scales don’t send any data. It’s not on Fitbit.com or on my app. 
it recognised me when I step on (after “thinking” for a while) and then gives me my weight but it doesn’t send any data to the website or my app. 

Could you advise what I need to do please.

Does the check mark pop up showing that it is syncing?

No, it comes up as guest with my weight only.. no % fat and then guest.

Would low batteries cause this problem?
