hi, i have found that it is not possible to connect my Aria weight to my wifi network as for security reasons i have to use special characters in my SSID name. Since I do not want to compromise on the naming of my wifi network, I have had to establish a guest network, which is not intentional for me. Are you planning to fix this with a firmware update? If not, then unfortunately I have to throw out my Aria weight, which would be a bit annoying. In my opinion, it is extremely important that manufacturers of smart devices pay close attention to everything that has to do with security, and that they do not in any way "dictate" how one's network is set up. I have about 120 smart devices connected to my network and it is not completely "harmless", so that is why I myself have to define how my network, firewalls and more. is configured. Greetings, Brian Denmark.

I can not see why Fitbit can not spend a few minutes getting the problem fixed. From my own experience, I have a very hard time seeing that the problem is related to the hardware. It should not be a problem to take special characters into account in the code - or should I say that this is pretty bad programming.
Best AnswerIt doesn't help you, but they are on the 3rd version of the Aria and the Aria 2 just went off the market. No company is going to spend the time and resources on a product that is this old and 3 model years behind. Sorry it doesn't work for you.
Best Answerhmmm, I can mention Apple, which still supports "old" products. IOS14 can be run on an iPhone 6s, which was produced in 2014, and it goes very well for Apple 🙂
