Aria not syncing with network

My aria scale will not sync. The last time it synced was January 9. I’ve restarted it and renamed it and taken the batteries out at least 50 times. I’ve moved to the router etc.

@cesk6569 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scale hasn't synced with your network for a few days, even though you have restarted it several times. Please let me know the following details that will help me to determine the cause of the issue and assist you accordingly:

- Is your Aria displaying any error message?
- Have you made changes to your network (router, router settings or WiFi password)?
- What is the make and model of your router?

Yes, we changed our WiFi password and router to an Xfinity router. As far as the model number I’m unsure.

@cesk6569 Thank you for getting back and providing those details! It has come to our attention that some users are experiencing issues with syncing/setting up Aria scales with Comcast/Xfinity routers and we are currently reviewing. 

There is a workaround that has helped most users. For this, follow the instructions below:

  • Log into comcast/xfinity account
  • Once logged in,  visit https://internet.xfinity.com/more
  • Edit wifi settings under "Additional Settings"
  • Click on 2.4 frequency edit button.
  • Select g/n, hit save.
  • When the screen refreshes, click edit again, select b/g/n and hit save. 
  • Stand on scale
  • Continue with the regular setup process
