Hello Fitbit, I’ve read all the posts about how to get my scale out of the “Setup Active” loop so I can use it as a regular scale without connecting to Wi-Fi or the FitBit app. I have tried every single suggestion in the posts and nothing works. With the message running constantly, the batteries will drain and I’ll have no scale at all. Please help me out with a solution. Thank you!

I have the same problem. I go over all the setup steps, it even tries to connect to my wifi but fails at the last step (sync). And it goes back to setup active again.
I think it's maybe because I moved my Fitbit profile to my Google profile.

I have the exact same issue and also suspect it's because of the Google switchover.
Not impressed. I don't feel like I should have to spend money to replace what is otherwise a perfectly good scale because they don't want to deal with older generation products.
I was contemplating resubbing to premium because I've been using my Fitbit a lot more in recent months, but this has irritated me to the point that I can't justify it to myself.
