Aria scale randomly stopped working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
  • My Aria scale randomly stopped working after prompting me to replace the batteries. Apparently, others have experienced similar issues. I tried to call Fitbit, and was passed around to four different (incorrect) departments. I'm never buying a Fitbit product again.

I actually love the product, but, support is worse than non-existent, they don't know what they are doing.  I've been told mulitple times my problem is I need to reset my Aria, change batteries, etc.  Never once have I gotten a response to three different tickets that actually addressed that I did all than and the issue is still not resolved.  My scale works, syncs to Fitbit, but won't show any recent weigh-ins or my weigh-in on the Fitbit app.

Totally pathetic, you are not alone in your frustrations. Mine is doing the same after changing the batteries. I just get ERR message now and can't even see a weight. Was working until now (though it stopped syncing with the app a couple of years back when they did some sort of update). I would manually load in my weight to the app. Not the best plan for that either, but at least I could see what my weight was. Now I can't even do that.

I'm looking for a third party scale that will sync.   I'm just beyond frustrated.

My scale stopped working when I changed my home Wi-Fi network. I have spent nearly two months attempting to resolve this, and I have tried everything Fitbit offers (which is nothing more than following known instructions to set up a new device) with no success.

NOTHING with Fitbit has worked since Google took over. It's almost like the strategy of Google was to purchase Fitbit to put them out of business. These will be the last Fitbit products I ever own. I have been a loyalist for many, many years. No more. Forcing me to continually increase from a small pebble to the new sizes of fitness trackers is not working for me. I am seeking alternatives.
