Aria scale won't connect

I'm actually really really mad about this. 

I was really excited when bought the scale but after 2 hours of not being able to FIND MY OWN NETWORK never mind actually connect I'm frustrated because it wont find my scale unless I'm connected through it on my wifi tab but then the page wont load cause theres no wifi. So that's confusing af and then if it's not continuously refreshing and not finding anything, the only things that DO show up are my neighbors wifi. Never mind that they're 100s of feet away but practically sitting on my router shows nothing just amazes me.
