Aria scales 6 lbs difference

I couldn’t get my wife's Aria scales to sync with my new iphone so I purchased  a set of Aria 2 for myself. I was using my wife’s and entering my weight manually in the app. However when I weigh myself on my wife’s scales I am 6lb lighter than on the new ones (step straight off one to the other?) When she and my son weigh themselves on both they weigh the same?
