Aria stuck in set-up

Our Aria is stuck in the set-up system: it continues to show "set up-step on" and despite the fact that I step onto the thing, it doesn't change the message. Tried a complete reboot, also that didn't help. Anybody any suggestions?

@DTCH Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scale doesn't get passed a "Set up-Step on" message. Please let me know if you have made changes to your network, such as router, router settings or WiFi password. Also, have you taken all the batteries in order to restart your scale or just one battery.

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy

Hi,

Thanks for your reaction. We didn’t change anything and have taken out all batteries for a few hours. Any suggestions are welcome!

I just changed my Aria scale batteries and I am now getting this same message.  After the battery change at first I was getting an Err message which I looked up on the web and managed to get rid of and now it is stuck in the setup loop.   Have searched and tried a number of times to get it out of setup based on the various suggestions I found but no luck.  No known changes to my wireless network. Centurylink DSL same router and internet is up and running in the home.  Scale was connecting just 2 days ago.  Am really frustrated.   Have wasted an hour I did not have trying to get this fixed so it won't run down the new batteries I put in.    I have changed the batteries before and never had any issues with reconnect but this time no luck.   I am also worried that if I re-connect from scratch I will no longer see the prior weight history (I saw that mentioned in a post).

@SMDAZ Thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Aria scale is also stuck in a "Setup mode" loop. I would like to follow up on this issue and would like to know if the issue persists or if your Aria could be set up.

In the meantime, please try taking just one battery and put it back in. When you see the "Setup Active" mode, please press the 2 lower squares with your hands firmly and see if the display changes to proceed.

Looking forward to your response! Smiley Happy
