My son and I weigh about the same and so sometimes the Aria 2 mistakes us for each other. When the scale misidentified me as my son, it gives me a BF of 10% but when it identifies me correctly I have a BF or around 30 percent. Why the big difference? Shouldnt the measurement be for me regardless of who it thinks I am?

Thanks for the details in your post. If both of you have a similar weight, the scale will display your icon or your son's with an X or checkmark so you can confirm or disregard the user. To confirm that is you the one that is standing on the scale press with your foot on the upper right sensor (checkmark) when you see your icon, but if you see your son's icon tap on the upper left sensor to disregard (X mark).

 

Regarding the difference on BF%, remember that this measurement is different on male and female.
