Can't setup Aria Air, Android os 7 needed

I just bought an Aria Air scale and can't add it to my Fitbit app.  I keep getting a warning saying I need the latest version of the app (that I have) and Android 7 (that I don't have available for my cellphone) and the it close the app.  There was no warning anywhere that it needed Android 7 to be addded to the Fitbit app.  My cell phone see's it in it's bluetooth available equipment but I can't add it.

Is there a way around that problem?  I won't change my cell phone for a scale and I'm disappointed that I basicly paid for an expensive useless scale.

@Mfk223   Fitbit has required Android 7.0 since mid-August for the app to be fully functional and to get app updates.  I believe the OS requirement came out before the Aria Air scale was released.  For example, the Versa 2 also requires 7.0 or later to set up.  I don't know of any way around your problem.

It should be found on the box. A computer will also work.
