Same problem. Cannot reset.

Same here. I've gone through old threads for solutions and tried to clear the cache, force stop, turn off all other Bluetooth devices, turn Wi-Fi on/off while turning Bluetooth on/off, restarted the scale, everything. I've gotten it to work twice with the force stop option but it still won't sync automatically.

I work with support. They had me return it. I just got the replacement. And it does the same thing. It's waiting to sync whatever that means.

Hi everyone.
Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here! Allow me to help you with the syncing issues of your Aria Air.
Some requirements and troubleshooting steps are listed in our help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync? below the section "Scales".
For those who haven't specified it (@2kriss @SchatzkiRing) , please take a look at the article and for you @Prymela check if there's something left to do.
For your issue @levinr, this is most likely an issue with the mobile app. Ensure you have the latest version of the Fitbit app running on you mobile.
I hope these instructions will be helpful for all of you. Have a great day!

I am running the current version (Nov 11,24) on a Pixel 9 Pro. I got it to work once, with some finagling. It now says it synced with the phone that one time it worked. Not the user experience I have come to expect from Google and FitBit.

Not helpful. Scale is connected to wifi and syncs, but the data never shows up in the app. Scale no longer recognizes me, just assumes I'm a "Guest" and gives NO OPTION to assign the weigh-in to me. Guest weigh-ins ARE NOT showing up in the "Recent Weigh-Ins" in the app. Nothing is.
Please use your Fitbit Moderator super-powers AND GET AN ENGINEER ON THIS. HUNDREDS of Aria 2 owners seem to be having the same problem.

Same here. Having to log weight manually every time. Also can only log in lbs not st and lbs. Most recent App update was awful. Weigh tracking and charts are terrible now.

I have an Arai Air scale and a Samsung 24+ phone. All apps and software is current. I also had issues getting my weight to transfer to the FitBit app, but have resolved it as follows:
1. On the phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth. If Aria Air isn't listed as a device, I step on the scale to activate it and get off, then hit Scan in the upper right corner to find the scale. Once Aria Air is listed as a device under Bluetooth, I proceed to step 2.
2. Open the FitBit app and step on the scale. My weight immediately transfers and I hit Save. Done!
3. I can then proceed to verify that all my devices have Sync'd. Sometimes the scale will indicate that it has not sync'd yet, but if I check back in about 5 minutes. it usually has.
Hope this process helps others. I battled for several days(Force Stop the FitBit app, turn Bluetooth off and back on, etc.) until I found this procedure to work for me. Of course, this is all dependent on the scale being successfully linked/configured to your account/phone.

Not helpful for me. I have an Aria 2 scale, which uses wifi to transfer data, not Bluetooth.

Still not working. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Update: It works about 1 out of 10 uses. It does not prompt me, but If I go to add a weight, the value is populated... sometimes.

I saw another post saying reset and remove the scales from my Bluetooth, uninstall the app, then reinstall and start again.
Did that, but still not working properly. It used to work fine until the update in November. ☹️

I've managed to solve this issue for my scale (at least). Please see this post.

Hi,
I've not been able to Sync with our Aria Air for awhile. After doing some searching it appears to be an issue with the current app. I downloaded the version 4.17 Fitbit app and the sync worked.
I then readded version 4.32. 9th December 24 from the Play Store and now the sync function does not work.
Hopefully this is fixed soon.
Hope this helps anyone looking for an answer. By the way resetting the Aria did nothing.

I am also running Version 4.32 on a Samsung Galaxy S24+, but have no problems. However, I have changed my procedure from an earlier post.
My new Procedure:
1. Go to Apps>Fitbit and Force Stop the app and say OK.
2. Go to Connections; activate scale (quick step), then select Bluetooth.
3. The AriaAir scale should be listed; tap on AriaAir in the settings (it will say it needs an app to function). The Bluetooth symbol should appear on the scale.
4. Open Fitbit app and step on scale. Your weight should transfer to the app; hit Save.
5. In order to Sync everything, 'pull down' on the screen and Fitbit will sync devices. You can tap on the battery symbol in the upper left corner to see all your devices and their sync status.
This process works for me, hope it helps you (and others). It would be nice if the scale was automatically detected when you open Fitbit and step on the scale, but that's "above my level" and an issue for Google to address.
