This does not work for me (Pixel 6a). The Aria Air shoes up as a device I can connect to on Bluetooth settings, but upon tapping it, there's a little notification that says "connection rejected by aria air".

Not familiar with Pixel phone(s), but can you go to Settings>Apps>FitBit and force stop the app?  Then go to Bluetooth again to see if that corrects your issue.

Yes that seems to work. The shame is by adding all of those extra taps in, I could have just manually entered the weight in less time.

I agree there are a lot of "unnecessary" steps, but I'm hoping that some of this feedback is being looked at by FitBit/Google Support that will point them in a direction to investigate and fix some of these issues.  By seeing what works, maybe they can improve the app so it is more resilient.

Screenshot_20250118_144012.jpgwelcome to the pain I've endured for almost 2 years. Having to log manually every time, may as well have bought regular scales.

I've tried everything suggested in these forums and it still doesn't sync, Fitbit app pulls up the page in app to input the data so it knows someone's on it, it just won't sync.

Good Luck! Hope yours is sorted soon!

So the Weight screen comes up, but there is no data transferred for you to save?  What screen are you looking at that says it hasn't sync'd in 627 days?

This is a serious question. Does this thing work for anyone?

Apparently not! 🙈

Exactly that, the screen comes up but nothing is transfered and it says last sync 627 days ago on the connected devices screen in the app.

I think we're experiencing the same thing. I got one used today and upon connecting it to my fitbit app it says last sync was 1035 days ago. It weighs just fine but that's it. That's all it does is measures my weight. No other bmi features or anything and doesn't communicate the weight to the app.

I've done all the same steps people have suggested.

Tried with android and apple. Both newest version of fitbit. Just got charge 6s so we're up to date. I saw somewhere suggests an app aria  air update. We'll it's not compatible with current androids so I pulled out an old phone and got it working on there, connected to the scale, it did actually update the firmware version from 6 to 9 or something like that... still won't sync.

You can see the phone and scale are communicating by watching the Bluetooth logo on the scale screen. As soon as the scale is turned on, if the app is open on your phone, the icon will light. If it's not open, or you close app, it will turn off. So clearly, they're talking to each other, they're just not doing any info transfer.

Really disappointed here as this was purchased to track for medical purposes. And after reading pages and pages of forum posts, this was an issue in 2019, why is it still? Why are they still being sold??

And sometimes it does bring up the option to manually enter my weight but comes up blank. But f that, might as well use any other scale at that point

In the screen in fitbit that lists your connected devices

It works for me.  If you click on my name and scroll through the posts I have submitted, one of them lists the current steps I use to transfer my weight and log it.

Please walk me through the screens to get to that data.

Here are the steps I use to check my data is sync'd and shows my data since Dec. 20 (shortly after I got my scale and figured out how to get it to function).

1.  From the Main Fitbit screen, swipe down and it will show your device is syncing.

2. Tap on the Battery symbol in the upper left corner to show your devices and when it sync'd.  Is this where you are at?

3  Tap on Aria Air to get the next screen and tap on Recent Weigh-Ins.  This will show dates when it sync'd.

I sometimes have to sync my data from the Main Fitbit screen several times before it will show my most current weight.  However, this is all moot if you are entering your weight manually.

Please click on my username and look at recent post to Bethannie.  You can also review my prior posts to see what works for me in getting the app and scale to talk to each other consistently; not perfect but it works for me.

When the screen comes up blank (no weight listed), try using the < symbol at the bottom of the screen to go back one page.  You may find your weight listed there. If so, Save it.  I've had that issue on occasion where the Weight screen pops up twice.

Yes thank you @Gharris . So disappointed at this. I purchased this with a purpose of measuring bmi and weekly weigh-ins.

I don't know about anyone else, but my Aria Air is now syncing without having to force stop the app. It just works now.

I have updated to the same version, but results are not consistent.
Weight transfers from Aria automaticly about 40% of time. Sometimes it
takes multiple tries, other times I have to STOP Fitbit.
