Went through the usual set up procedure of removing a battery for 10 seconds then replacing. Instead of 'Setup Active' message I get 'V39 WiFi is [My Old Network Name] Tap to Change' if I tap the display goes blank and stays that way. Scale still works but obviously doesn't connect to new network name. Fitbit help has been to say "it's not in warranty, buy a new model"!! Anyone any thoughts, other than buying a new model that is?

Have to report I successfully changed the network on this scale today. Turns out the instruction 'tap' actually means press the bottom corners of the scale quickly. 'Set-up Active' returned to display and setup procedure from the fitbit.com/scale/setup worked as designed. Have to agree with others on here that this is overly complicated and temperamental though.

Same here. Ever since 3/24/2023 it’s not logging my daily weigh-ins. Was that the date of the latest Fitbit app update??
