Fitbit app crashes when adding users to Aria 2

I have set myself up on the Fitbit aria 2 scales. When trying to add my partner via my Fitbit account after setting up for myself the app just closes. I’m assuming this is the app crashing. 

we have had the scales for some time and this has not been an issue previously. It is only since we reset the scales.

That is odd @MissDamasdi ….try restarting your phone then try adding your partner. Also make sure that your Fitbit App is up to date. Remember in order to add more users to your scale, you need to send them an invitation.

We did try that but it didn’t work 😫 I have added the scales to my app and it allowaed me to send the invite without any trouble. How odd indeed. Then when my partner opened the invite it just takes her to this page and says sorry we got lost or something. 

any advice with this?

Hello again @mrDamasdi and @MissDamasdi 

The only assistance I can add is please have the person you sent the invitation to log in to his/her own Fitbit account through a computer. After this, ask her/him to look for their email account and have them to accept the invitation from there. The page should take them to their Fitbit account and the Aria should show on their Dashboard. I am having the same issue. I did all the steps above. When I sent an invitation from my computer, it sends it, but the other person tries to click the link and says they were on the wrong path. I.e. the link didn’t work and they couldn’t accept the invite.

I found this YouTube video with someone who had the same. Her quick walkthrough shows how she was able to accept the invitation by using a computer. I’m not sure how long this invitation link issue has been going on but I’m hoping this helps:
