@YooperAnnie  The starting point for every device is to tap on the device/battery icon in the upper left of your app, then Add more devices (near the bottom of the page).  Tap on Scales, then choose your model.  Follow the steps.

I can get to Add more devices on the Fitbit mobile app, select Aria Air, Start setup, I agree, then Searching for your Aria Air.....

Nothing I have done allows my Android phone to find the scale. 

I checked the scale batteries, replaced them (a few times)

There are no other phones nearby.

I reset the scale to get the 'clr'

I turned bluetooth on my phone off, then on again.
