We have an Aira Air. My husband is the account holder. My old iPhone worked perfectly with the scale after he invited me to join. I cannot get my phone to recognize the aria or maybe it is the aria that won't recognize the phone. When I accept the invitation, I am taken to a page that reviews my history with Fitbit but no way to connect to a new scale. I've tried deleting the scale (now my phone can't see the scale at all), force quitting the app, etc. I see others have been successful accepting the invite on their computer but I don't have the app on my computer and it is no longer available in the app store. Help!!!!!
I'm ready to buy an apple watch. After this "merger" with Google, I'm not about to buy a google watch.

I and my fiance just got charge 6 bands. I have another nice fancy scale that records everything but figure it would be great to have one that syncs up.with the fitbit app and keep all our data stored in the same place and both connect to it.
I got it second hand so it's mine now and it's literally just a digital scale at this point.
It connects with the fitbit app but refuses to sync. In fact, it says the last sync was 1035 days ago. The seller says he just hasn't used it in years but I'm guessing it stopped syncing back then and it's just collected dust until he decided to sell it off.
I've done everything I've found online to try syncing it.
I tried with my android, my fiances apple, I found the aria air update app that was too old for my phone so I installed on an older phone, updated the firmware, still doesn't sync.
You can clearly see the scale and app actively connect as when you stand on the scale, the Bluetooth logo is only.on so long as the fitbit app is open. If you close it, logo disappears. Open it, pops right back up. But that's the only proof as it does not sync ANY data.
I've done everything from the hard factory reset, to the force stop trick to trying different devices. Nothing works. I've gone thru pages and pages of forum posts where it looks like it was an issue in 2019 but had been fixed and resolved and everyone was reporting it was suddenly working but for me, nothing works.
And specifically in direct reply to the op, I found the exact same issue with trying to invite another user to use the scale. Both from android to apple and vice-versa. Both times it take you to a web page displaying your stats but in no way does it allow you to accept the invite and the senders fitbit app invite section remains "pending" but I guess what difference does it make if you can't sync anyways.
Sadly a waste of money as this scale is worth less than the one I already own.

Very similar for me too. I can use the scale on my account. I invited my wife and my daughter, but no way to have the scale recognize them and send them the data. Very disappointing.
