In addition to not getting the brand new scale to connect to my app it's also weighing three pounds more than three other scales I had access to. I can't return it because I was out of town when it was delivered and the return date passed. I'm not sure where to go from here because even if by some miracle I can get it to connect, it's wrong. This is very disappointing for a brand I respected.

If you want to return the scale, then you need to work with the retailer you originally purchased it from.
Also, we cannot provide further assistance until we know exactly which Aria scale you have. While it's great that you mentioned it's an Aria scale, there's 3 different versions and the assistance given will be detemined by the answer to that question.
