Recently upgraded my home internet and all my devices were easily reinstalled on the new modem. Fantastic improvements in some cases. However, my original Aria would not work with it no matter how many work arounds were attempted. The firmware clearly needs to be updated but FitBit is not going to do that. So, what is your path forward? If you still got your old modem, use it as a sub net on your new network and use it only for your Aria. If you had to return your old modem, like I did, I suggest going to a second hand store and picking up an older WiFi modem. I picked up a Linksys WRT54G for $9. It is 2.4G only but that was just what you need for Aria. Connect the LAN port of the old WiFi modem to a unused switched port on your new WiFi modem. I also found I needed to disable wireless security to setup Aria. After setup, I re-enabled security and the Aria kept working. Worked through several power cycles so far but time will tell. I've heard some people found that their workarounds didn't last very long. I'll try to remember to add to this post in a few days about if it is still working. I think it will be ok. One more thing: ensure at least a meter of separation between your modems and that they are on different channels. Best wishes. Please let me know if this works for you. I kept searching for a solution as I got used to my Aria and found that there really isn't a modern equivalent replacement that automatically logs my weight/etc with FitBit.
