Unhappy with Fitbit

I just tried to update the network connection on my Fitbit Aria 2 smart scale...what a waste of a user interface, time, and materials that went into this product. The device itself indicates that the network was updated successfully...the App indicates otherwise. 

Looking around the forums, I found that I am not alone in having this problem. Having wasted nearly 30 minutes trying to get this updated, I've given up and decided to just sell or donate the damm brick and buy something from a competitor like Garmin. 

I used to swear by Fitbit and, having given my old Charge 2 to a friend, thought about buying a newer Charge 3...at this point, I am going to completely divest from the Fitbit ecosystem.
