What the hell is wrong with the Aria Air/fitbit app software?

So I bought an Aria Air scales a few weeks ago.  It syncs with my iPhone and records weight but not body fat.  It just says --%.  However, when I log onto fitbit on my mac the body fat is recorded.

 

So it obviously has measured my body fat but cannot sync it to the fitbit app on my iPhone.

 

And I've done all that "hard restart" stuff.

 

What's going on?

The question I have with that is how it was recording your body fat as the Air doesn't support that function. See this thread https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Aria-Scales/Aria-2-vs-Aria-Air/m-p/3862153

Well that answers half my question.  I was led to believe that it measured body fat when I bought it.
