14 hours of activity, consecutive or not?

My goal is to have 14 hours of 250+ steps of activity. The problem is, I find myself having to "get my steps" at different points of the day, sometimes an uninterrupted 14 hours of activity is just not feasible.

Why are we as users not able to "recover" hours that are lost due to inactivity/fitbit fails to remind us

If my 14 hour range of activity is planned from 7am to 8pm, but I get 250+ steps, say at 6am or 10pm, why can't those be applied to the overall "activity" for the day?

Furthermore, is there any way to trigger a more substantial alarm (rigorous vibration or maybe an alert via push notification) to alert users there is 10 more minutes to complete their 250 step goal?

We are not able to break up the 250 hour periods simply because this feature has not been programed in.

You might want to search the Feature Suggestion forum and add your vote to a suggestion that meets your criteria.

As for changing the intensity of the alarm, this too will rewuire being a change made by the developers.  Why not add your votes for this idea also.

Interesting comment, considering this is a community board setup by Fitbit, so that the community of Fitbit users will be able to help each other out.

Yea my guess is the majority of people on here have Fitbits.
