My settings in the app isn't giving me the option to allow third party notifications like Facebook and instagram. I have my phone itself allowing the notifications but I only see settings for call, text, and calendar notifications. How do I get the 3rd party notifications?

You need to wait until a software update is rolled out in the next few days.
Mike | London, UK
Blaze, Surge, Charge 2, Charge, Flex 2 - iPad Air 2, Nokia Lumia 925 (Deceased), iPhone 6
Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

With me some notifications aren't working
Fit bit
Runkeeper
Swarm
Waze and
Buienalarm are working
but Whatsapp and Snapschat aren't
I followed the instructions, but is there something else I should do?

I'm assuming some apps simply are not compatable, but the apps listing may be found under advsmce.

@SunsetRunner You have to receive a notification to your phone from an app first before it will show up as one of the options in "App Notifications" list. Once it shows up and you have it selected, sync your Blaze, and notifications for the selected apps should come through to your Blaze.
