Active minutes disappearing from Blaze and Dashboard

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello Forum,

I have noticed it for past few days that every time I initiate a manual synch between Blaze and iPhone application, the active minutes are lost and are set to zero in both.

I am running version 2.46 of the iPhone fitbit app.

Please advise.

Thanks

Nitin Jain

Hi there @nitin.jain. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your active minutes disappearing from your dashboard, that's pretty strange. Now, I'd like to know if you're able to see them on your tracker even when they don't show on your dashboard.

I can recommend two things, the first one would be to restart your tracker. You can easily do this by clipping your tracker to the charger and plugging the charger to a USB port on your computer or a wall charger. Then, Press the button on your charging cable three times within four seconds and your tracker should vibrate and show the Fitbit logo. This will make your tracker to reboot.

After that, try logging out of your Fitbit account and log back in with the same email address and password and see if your active minutes show up.

Hope this helps and please let me know if you need more help!

Hello there,

Apologies for not writing back soon. To answer your query, the active minutes get wiped off from the tracker as well.

Also, the charging cable that came with the tracker does not have a button on the charging cable.

Best Regards,

Nitin

Thanks for getting back @nitin.jain! Also thanks for the details on what's going on.

Huh, that's pretty strange, your charging cable should have this button. Note that it will not pop up from the big plastic piece but will be at the same level and it should be a round button in the shape of a perfect circle and it should be located on the USB part of the cable. For a reference, please take a look at the picture on this post.

Once you've found the button, try to follow the restart instructions and see if there's any improvement. Let me know if you need more help!

Unfortunately, there is no button on the charging cable. There is a tracker holder at one end and a standard USB plug with USB icon engraved on it.

Hello Ferdin,

I restarted the tracker by pressing left and right bottom buttons. After this, once I had some active minutes, I tried to synch them on the iPhone. Again the minutes were wiped off and set to zero in the tracker. No active minutes on mobile application as well.

Please advise.

Best Regards

Nitin

That picture is posted in the ALTA section. First I ever heard of a button on the Blaze charger in two years. Checked mine and I don't have a button either.

This problem just showed up in my watch last week.  20 active minutes on the screen, look again later and its 0.

Yes I have reset the watch, yes I have disconnected it from the app and re-added it.

I'm guessing its a new update in the app that added this bug??!  I have never seen such incompetent developers.  There are literally more bugs in this device's firmware or app than there are useful features.

-constant bluetooth disconnects

-unable to turn off outlook notifications (buzz every minute until outlook meeting starts)

-no notifications

-heart rate monitor not turning on (auto doesn't work, ON just shows HR of 70, sensor probably dead)

-doesn't recognize sleep (probably related to HR sensor)

and now unable to track active minutes... which means I will have hard time making my goals on my company health plan (losing reward money $$$$)

GARBAGE.  NEVER FITBIT AGAIN.
