Any suggestions on activities that record floors? I live in a one floor house with no steps, I read that the device does not count treadmill or step climber elevations.

Find some hills in your area. You just need 10 feet in elevation

Could you please be more specific, do you want to register floors or isn't your tracker registering this information? In the meantime, I recommend taking a look at the help article How does my Fitbit device count floors?.
