Anyone else finding their blaze fantastic?

I've been reading about the issues some have been having. Sorry about that. Mine has been working great so far. Update happend in only 5 minutes. My phone is syncing with no issues. I do not notice any issues in incorrect step counting or stairs climbed. It's holding a charge much better than I thought it would. My iPhone connects to the app for using the GPS with no issues whatsoever. I just wanted to write this so people can know, some of us are not experiencing these issues, or at least, not yet. My first impression is that this is a total winner. Time will tell.

My update took 12 minutes bit had a bad cell connection at the time.  In any case it was the smoothest update to a tracker yet.

So far i really like it,  but still getting use to it. Did one walk with GPS and the path was very accurate.

I will be more happy when the come up with more watch faces. The Zone is the only one that is acceptable to me but during excercise the bright yellow screen makes reading the time and HR tough. The Pop watch face looks like something from Disney and the other faces do not have the information I want.

Me.  Got mine Friday and I LOVE it.

I'm very happy with mine as well.  My setup also went smoothly without incident.  I'm currently using the zone face, but may switch to the flare to see if I like it.  I found where you can rearrange your exercise to be in the  order you most use and that made me smile.  I find it to be very user friendly and I'm looking forward to what enhancements they have in store for us.  I would to see a better variety of bands available, maybe a more pliable band without having to move up to the expensive leather bands.

I love mine too!! Love the fact that my cell phone is across the room but I get the notification that it's ringing on my wrist!! Now it did say I had climbed three flights of stairs when I hadn't but I guess I expect slight glitches!!

I don't understand the positive comments.  This is my second day with the tracker and like many users in the community, I too am dissapointed with Blaze.

1. Vibration for notifications is almost non-existent.

2. Flights of stairs climbed is extremely inaccurate.

3. Voice cues for exercise tracking only works for Android devices, not IOS.

Let's see if the issues get resolved.

It is growing on me. It is fantastically thin and comfortable, and it does all the basics that I want; however, the fact that it is not waterproof has really got me thinking about returning it. Summer is coming up and I spend a lot of time outdoors and in the water; I want something that I can wear at all times.

For the life of me I can't figure out how fibit doesn't make a waterproof fitness tracker. Also, reminder to move alerts. Fitbit is the leader in fitness tracking so I really don't understand. It's been a feature many have wanted for a long time.

Good point on the "move alerts", I forgot about that oversight.  If it tracks when you're moving, it also knows that you haven't moved and for how long.  It should be simple to add that functionality with a software update.  It would be nice to get a reminder once in a while.  Maybe even provide a way to disable the feature if someone didn't want it.

Glad to hear it is working well for you @sandersjo65.  That's been true for me too, so far.  I'm using it with an iPhone 6 and didn't have any problem setting it up.  Had a problem with connected GPS at first -- problem was that I needed to change locations services in the fitbit app in settings from "While using the App" to "Always On."  And I'm pumped that the music controls work with my iPhone's audible app so that I can control by books from the Blaze!  (Undocumented feature!)

Compared steps/floors to my Charge HR yesterday and today (wearing both and synching to different accounts).   I'll reserve judgment on that until I've got about a weeks worth of data, but promising so far.

2.27        Steps       Floors

Charge   25879      66

Blaze      25777     77

Blaze      20182     69

From what I've read, the move alerts may be added after the Alta is released.  I throughly read the specifications and knew exactly what I had ordered.  The water resistant versus water proof is a non issue for me.  Different people have different needs and the Blaze fits my needs perfectly.

Where I work everything is at a slight incline.  I can walk an equivalent of 3-4 flights of stairs just going around the building because there's a change in elevation.

That data is great news for me!  Close enough to consider it a success IMO.

I am on 2 1/2 days of use, and my battery has not shown any decrease yet.  Have used music, GPS tracking, several walks and such, and many notifications via Text.  So far I am still loving this!

I'm now 3 days to the hour and the battery is still at medium. The blaze is being worn 24/7 and no GPS used.

The one thing I have noticed is more stability in the HR graphs at the low end, sleeping..

The graphs below are different days but the averages are nearly the same.

The Blaze has stabilised the HR and fewer spikes. I have a 1st degree heart block (missing heart beat occasionally, followed by 2 or 3 catch up beats). This is difficult to pickup because I have a low HR (RHR is 56 and as I'm typing this it is only 61 bpm. Therefore between recorded points it would not show.

I have highlighted the area where I thought the Blaze was not recording the HR. But on examining that, it is plotting at the rate that others have found with their Fitbits.

Where are you getting those plots from?  My dashboard has nothing like that.

It is under HR data from your dashboard.

So sorry to hear that others are having problems with their blaze.  I have been having an amazing experience with mine so far and love it!  A much better charge than my Charge HR so far.  Hopefully I continue to have great results.  Everyone enjoy!
