Hi there @MrBumpBDP. Welcome to the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your app crashing when you open the sleep log section.

I would recommend in this situation, to log out of the app and log back in making sure you do this with the same email address and password. If you notice this to happen still after logging out and logging back in, try uninstalling the Fitbit app and install it again and try it out to see how it goes.

Let me know if you need more help!

this has been going on for about 8 weeks and 2 app updates. I've deleted restarted. downloaded updated. and still no change.
I've almost given up. was thinking of buying the ionic. now I'm thinking of asking for a refund and buying a Garmin?

Thanks for getting back @MrBumpBDP. I'm very sorry to hear that it didn't work for you 😕

Since this is something at an App level... it would be worth making sure that your OS is up to date and then  you can try to uninstall the app and reinstall it again. What's your current OS? What phone is it the one you're using?

are you making fun of me.
seriously
it's not 1999
most IT savvy smart phone owning smart watch owning individuals usually understand updating their phone and the apps that they have installed on them.
your app is crap and is broken and has been since the end of August.
I think your customer service is awful hollow and completely void of information that i any way instills in me trust that you at fit bit are actually doing any thing.
you be started to.sound like the banking institutes of the 1990's so big that you actually have forgotten it's us your customers that keep you all in jobs not.tge other way round.
you are in no way doing me a favour.
I chose.your product and realistically amongst our family we've put up with broken straps and fitbit failing to sync and yes after enough customers complain you be fixed replaced.
I represent a corner of your customer base a professional who works shifts. like nurses police officers factory employees, security etc etc and for some unknown reason your app cant cope.
give me a date within 1 week 2 weeks 30 days... replace the charge or refund me.. I feel like this should be raised with the consumer ombudsmen as it's indicative of a 21st century lacking in customer service where a product requires a app to be completely usable.
I recognise this is a 1st world problem and yes there are greater problems in the world but neither I nor fitbit are solving them right now.
so after my rant how about stop telling me Its been escalated and someone actually calls me.or just fixes the problem...

My sleep app on the Fitbit app worked one day, and now it had stopped... 🤔

This has recently started to happen to me also. I reinstalled the app, cleared the cache, updated everything... it just stopped working. I'm using an S8, too.

This has been happening to me for several weeks.  I also have an S8.  I've done the standard advice, but it keeps happening.  Super frustrating.  I just want to see my sleep stats.

Sleep function causes app to hang for me too. It seemed to get gradually worse over a few days, taking longer and longer to generate a report, until now, when it hangs and never generates a report.  Apple OS has been updated, App has been updated; no improvement.

I think it is clear that your App has fallen over with the new Apple OS version. When are you going to fix it?

Fitbit software is definitely the worst, nothing special about the hardware either. I’ve got the Ionic because I wanted to track sleep and the battery life was better, but having this problem makes that feature useless

Turned out for me it simply didn't like my sleep pattern as I was working nights??  My batter died and fir but replaced it and the problem disappeared..  so I dont know if it was a software glitch
