Arc Clock Face

I just noticed the new clock faces and think they aren't too bad. In looking at the screenshot, it appears that part of the heart rate is highlighted. This doesn't display on my watch, is this a rending or an actual function?IMG_0654.PNG

Yes I'm asking about the heart rate outline. The other circles are related to the closeness to a goal--does the heart rate circle close? How would one do that?

thats my question.

I have only just updated mine, and have discovered the new faces. I'm currently using the Arc face and I like it.

So far on mine the heart beat circle or border is showing grey rather than showing any red, but like I said, I have only just started using it.

It's still morning here, so maybe later in the day it may change. If it does, and if I can remember, I'll return with an update.

I love that the heart pulses, it's a nifty touch.

I like new Arc Clock face, I just wish I can rearrange small circles, coz I would prefer change position of heart rate circle and move it to the middle.

@DibaSr  Mine is the same.. Probably no rendering because whjat will it represent....? A percentage of ???. All of the others are the percentage of your goal and tapping on each one shows you the actual figure achieved at that time..

Could it be the current heart rate zone? Resting zone = no highlight. Fat burn = 1/3, cardio = 2/3, and peak zone = full circle.

@Walkman55I have just completed some simple testing and your post is in the area of what Fitbit have done with the HR..When I hit Fat Burn it show filling to about 20 to 12... .. when I got to 74% of my MaxHR it was filled to 12 o'clock.

I have now worked out a single tap where the time/numbers are shown moves the display to the next arc....

I totally agree.

I need to always monitor my heart rate as I had previously had Graves disease, and a higher than average heart rate is a good indicator for a relapse.

Of course there's more signs, but aside from tremors, that's a good indicator.

@Colinm39 thanks for the info.

I read your post and put my specs on, and checked. I now see a small faint red mark on the thin grey line at about 25-20 to the hour. My pulse is at around 90 at the moment, although it is fluctuating down to 84 and back up again. Without my gogs on, I wouldn't have seen it.

I think the mark needs to be thicker and bolder so everyone can see it, and us old fats can't miss it lol.

I am thinking the powers that be, should be made aware, and hopefully fix it. It's maybe not a bug, more an enhancement, but I suppose for us who are going blind, it could be considered a bug lol.

A bit of humour lol. I'm not going blind, just haven't got the perfect vision that I used to have.

And now I have just been informed I have stage 2 diabetes, and as my levels move around, my eyesight is changing daily.

@StevenDon64Having a Fitbit you are already making inroads into your health.. Last week in Melbourne Dr Chris Van Tulleken from the BBC "Trust me I'm a Doctor" series, had episode 2 from his, "The Doctor who gave up drugs" series.

At the end of the TV episode he had volunteers take part in a "walking to be active", for 8 weeks. All them had diabetes, and  a mixture of heart, stroke and cholesterol issues. After the 8 weeks every participant had their a glucose levels checked and they were all bordering on normal...

Here is the extract.. He was practicing in a GP clinic with the aim to convince patients to lower their meds etc because of the massive over prescribing in the UK...

"Dr Chris has discovered evidence for a miracle alternative cure - walking! The group is not impressed with his simple idea but finally agree to take part. Over eight weeks he asks them to take a brisk walk for thirty minutes, five times a week. The final results are impressive, but will it be enough to keep them off the meds and ultimately convince the doctors to continue the group once he's gone?"

Benefits of exercise

Step right up! It's the miracle cure we've all been waiting for.

Here is a link to the NHS.. Similar to CDC's recommendations.

I think I figured it out. When my heart rate went up one of the 3 bars started to fill. I think that when you have a higher one it fills it up and then when you have one of the3 fully filled up it will stay filled up.
