Hello everyone,
has anyone noticed since the latest firmware (17.8.200.3) that the auto brightness seems to activate at the lowest brightness setting and slowly adjust to the light around you, which makes it harder when me or my partner are outside in bright sunlight to quickly check stats, time or notifications that come through.
I just find it a bit to slow now whereas before it felt like it woke the screen at mid brightness and then adjusted up or down, and was wondering of the general consensus of the new auto brightness?
and also i was hoping for some official feedback as to this change?

Glad I finally took the time to look into this. It has been driving me crazy the last couple of days. I liked it the way it was before they changed it. I had to go back and manually set it to normal lighting. Nothing worse than staring at your wrist for 10 seconds to see what time it is.

I did the steps above and it's back to working like a champ...at least for now.

@estesbubba Thanks for the suggestion!
For the "Auto" setting being too dim, see my post over here.
Try switching to 'Normal' as a workaround in the meantime. Please note switching to 'Normal' will have a slight impact on battery life.
