I just finished 45 minutes on the elliptical machine in the hotel I'm staying in and it didn't recognize that. I have the auto recognize set to 10 minutes as well.

Update:
I was having this problem as well as my heart rate showing up but not being logged. I just solved the problem and posted a reply in another thread about the heart rate. I'll cut and paste that post here since both issues were solved with the same action.
"I just had the same problem and came here looking for an answer. I had a Charge HR and bought a Blaze this past weekend. I just finished a workout and it didn't log my active minutes. It showed my heart rate on the watch and the current heart rate on my dashboard but it did not show the heart rate log since I changed to the Blaze. I couldn't figure out what the problem was. I've been trying to figure it out for several hours now. I've been here reading replies etc. I went to the app and was looking at the blank heart rate log and there was a ? at the top right, so I clicked it for help. It took me to the site to log into the hotel's wifi. (I'm a pilot and am in a hotel right now). Once I logged in, everything was there. I'm on an iphone 6 and thought that would have been sufficient but it was latched onto the hotel wifi and since I wasn't logged in, it wasn't getting out to the internet through wifi or cellular data. Now that I'm logged into the wifi, the problem is solved. Hope this helps someone.
Happy Thanksgiving!"
