Battery and syncing issues with Blaze

I have had several Fitbit products and have loved them all. So in March I purchased the Blaze because it has many features that I need. The sleep tracking and constant heart rate monitoring to name a few. I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in June of 2014 and it's super important that I keep track of my heart rate and sleep schedule for my doctors. Since purchasing the Blaze in March I'm now on my 2nd replacement!! This is insane. The original Blaze would not sync or hold charge so they replaced it with  a refurbished pebble, then that one began giving me the same issues after only a month or so. They offered to send another pebble and new charging cable, to which I refused. They are now sending me a brand new in the box unopened Blaze. I personally don't have much faith that this will remedy the issue. Why for the love of God will Fitbit not just upgrade me to the Surge? I've had so many issues with the Blaze. They did offer me a 50%off coupon for another Fitbit of my choice but I don't feel that I should have to spend another $100+ on their product because they're making such low quality items. That just doesn't seem fair. Can someone please tell me what it will take to get an upgrade if this continues to happen?

Sorry for the frustrations you are experiencing.  Hopefully the new one works out for you.  I have had my Blaze since it came out and it has been an amazing tool for me, so I would be pretty bummed if it stopped working.  I have never heard of Fitbit upgrading anyone to a different model, but they do have good customer service so hopefully they will get you all set up with this new Blaze. Fingers crossed for your new one 🙂

Personally i fond the Surge way to bulky for everyday wear. Anoyher drawback is the unreplacable band.

Snap but its my surg I've had 3 replacements and have just been offered a 4th replacement or 50% off any fitbit product. The Blaze is there recommended replacement. I've been researching it and came across your comment's. Now I don't known what to do. The Surge is not stable.Cover came undoneCover came undone

@Katt_Anderson  Unfortunately most forums are bereft, lacking positive input, because many Fitbitters don't get on here and praise the successes.

I'm definitely concerned about your issues. I have been around since 2011 and every Fitbit I'm using or have used is still working or retired out because of age.. and lack of function.

As @Jrdubyakc has posted, I have had my Blaze since it was initially released, 17 months. I'm having very accurate Sleep Recording and it's accurate.. Even at my age, my bathroom visits are spot-on... even the wakeups to check the time a flick the clock radio on....

Some minor adjustments to save battery, like Quick View is off and All day sync is off. I get 3-4 days out of the battery and I'm wearing the Blaze 24/7Smiley Happy except for showers. I have my Fitbit One in my jeans pocket and on comparable step counts I'm happy with the accuracy...

Notifications, messages and phone calls come through and I have no issues syncing and in that environment I feel it's the Telco and or Phone and can feel for Fitbit's issues with so many Android phones out there.

In saying all of that, I have a low RHR and my HR can get down to 41 while asleep.. Genetic, and all passed by the cardiologists.  That could equate to my accurate sleep recording..

In posting this I see you have just posted another about your issues..

Oh wow. Well the Blaze won't hold charge, sync or show proper steps. I'm beginning to think it's an all around issue with all of the Fitbit products. I may just stick with the 5million replacements they give me on my Blaze. Good lord.. I had a conversation with a woman yesterday they was BURNED on her face by her Blaze and Fitbit did nothing but replace it!!! Horrible company if you ask me."
