Fitbit Update: 09/3/2017
Our team is still actively investigating the root cause of this battery drain with Blaze and the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+. I'm sorry that many of you are still having issues with a shorter battery life, but rest assured this is being looked at as high-priority for our team. My apologies for the inconvenience, and thank you all for your patience! I will provide an update as soon as there is more information available. In the meantime, please continue manually syncing your Blaze trackers only when needed. This will help preserve the battery-life.
Fitbit Update: 08/14/2017
Hi everybody!
Thanks for reporting your experiences with a rapid battery drain on Blaze trackers and your Android device - Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+. Our team is aware this is affecting Blaze users and they are investigating the root cause. I will update this thread when there is more information available.
As a temporary workaround, turn OFF "Always Connected" and the "All-Day sync" features. Make sure to manually sync your devices at least once a day.
Thanks for your patience!

Hi, I have the same problem, my Blaze started to drain very fast a few months ago. Even though I have a Samsung S7. It can drained within an hour or less. It is kind of random. If I am not mistaken, this thing started happening after Blaze added the "Notification" for audio control. Randomly, I will get this "Notification" popup and it will have "Off" or "On", and it doesn't matter what I selected. Outcome still the same. I am getting very frustrated right now to a point where if this thing is not fixed soon, I am going to dump it and get some more reliable. It is wasting a lot of my time to try to figure out the problem. I have tried everything, shutdown, restart, reset. turn off all notifications......Just FYI. I have used the Blaze for more than a year and was very happy with it until this started happening. And I thought by now, it should have already been fixed. And it seems like I am not the only one that is having this issue. If this somehow can get to fitbit support that will be great. Thank you. Have a great day.

After turning off ALWAYS CONNECTED and ALL DAY SYNC, my blaze battery is looking like it is back to lasting 4-5 days again. I sync just once a day to keep the syncing to a minimum.
Fitbit Support: Your highlighted message that you are working on this isn't really sufficient. Especially since that message is almost a month old now. I think if you would mention that there is a workaround that works for some people that would help alleviate some of the frustration. Turning off those options works for me and appears to as well for other people based on a quick perusal of the messages in their thread.

Has this been resolved yet? I am having the same issue with my Blaze and S8. Blaze needs to be charged constantly. Notifications started working after a few days of constant resetting everything.

At least I now know it's not my blaze. I recently changed from an iPhone 6 to Samsung 8, Blaze won't sync half the time, needs charging every second day. Not happy, love my new phoner but loved my Blaze too. Hurry up and fix this issue fitbit ir you will lose a litt of loyal users.

I'm having the same issue as a lot of you. When I had my iPhone my blaze would last 4-5 days even with the heartrate sensor, all day sync, etc turned on. Now it dies in 24 hours with all of those things turned off. The only thing that has changed is that I now have a galaxy s8+. Super frustrating.

i have the Galaxy S8+ i thought it was my tracker! replaced--and the replacement was draining, they replaced that again. no one ever asked me what phone I have--I got the S8+ back in late June. I still charge at least every 36 hours. It's been just 20 hours and i am at about 50%..sheesh--this is going to cost fitbit more $$ than it is to fix it. HOW long has this been going on?

How unfortunate. It has been going on for months now, and still no real information. Meanwhile. the competition (cough GARMIN cough) had jumped ahead in hardware and functionality. I really like my Blaze, but right now it's simply unusable, and I am about to look to other options.
This is VERY frustrating, as this wasn't an inexpensive item, and while we know ish happens, it's reasonable to expect SOME soft of progress or info after several months. That's just not acceptable.
I hate to see you guys fall off like this and hope you get it together overall. Meanwhile, PLEASE give some info or hope that this will be resolved ASAP.
