I've had my Blaze for over a year and I used to charge it once a week. Now, seems after every update I have to charge it more. I fully charged it Sunday evening 05/14 and I had to charge it today 05/17. Has anyone else experienced fast battery drain?

Hey there @kristinb2013. Great to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 😄
I'm sorry you're having problems with your tracker. Since you've mentioned you've already tried to fully charge it and you've seen the battery to die before the 5 days, I'll go ahead and escalate your case to the Support Team for them to take care of this for you. Keep an eye on your inbox for further instructions.
Hope to see you back on track soon. Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you!

My Blaze battery experience is much worse. Recently, I charge my Blaze every other day then I've noticed this very short battery life just this month.
I fully charged it before sleeping but then my Blaze is already dead in the morning when I woke up. I have also tried fully charging it in the morning but it only lasts about 6 hours during the day. So I always charge it every 4-5 hours or I end up wearing a dead Blaze at the end of the day.
Now I'm not wearing it anymore.
I have already contacted my dealer coz this is only about 6 months so it's still under warranty.
I'm putting this up here for additional info to the readers and the Fitbit support team.

I am in the same situation as you heatherRiff.
3 weeks ago I went from going 5 days without a charge down to every 12 hours needing to charge my Blaze.
I made the same adjustments as you did and continue to get only 12 hours of life. I never use my Blaze for music, and rarely use the notifications and keep it dim.
I charge it every night and leave it until morning.

Hi there @PDSAZ, I'm glad to hear that your tracker is working better now. If you need more help in the future, let me know and I'll be happy to help! 🙂
@WicTic @Paulmiehlke, I'm very sorry that your batteries are not lasting as they should 😕
I can recommend putting it to charge and once it's fully charged, take it off the cradle and put it on. Sync it and use it as you would normally do. Make sure to sync it frequently after this so that the battery levels are recorded on the app logs and once the battery dies, let me know so that I can take a closer look and then we can move forward with other options to get you back on track.
I'll be looking forward for your replies!

Thank you @FerdinandFitbit for the support. I will continue to recharge my Fitbit several times a day as needed.
Just to clarify, am I supposed to keep charging frequently until the battery will no longer charge before contacting you for follow up?

Thanks for getting back @Paulmiehlke!
And not really... You only need to fully charge the tracker once. After fully charging it, take it off the charger and start using it. While you're using it, sync it every 30 minutes or every hour just for that information to be stored in the logs in the Fitbit app. When your tracker finally dies, let me know and that way, I can forward your case to the Support Team and based on the information from when you were syncing, they will be able to tell the battery levels and other important information for them to be able to help getting you back on track.
Any other question you may have, let me know. I'll be happy to help!

Got my Blaze in February 2017 and now it won't turn on. I've had the wrist flip to turn on function off since March to save power but apparently that didn't help. When I put it in the charger, it will show the logo and turn on for a few seconds but then it will shut off. It won't let me reset it either. Completely bummed that this has stopped working after 7 months.

Hi Ferdinand,
Am experiencing this same battery life problem with some odd little quirks to boot! The notifications keep buzzing on and off continually when in use and the screen keeps getting frozen with a ghostlike frame of the previous screen staying under the main screen, that coupled with the battery life issue means the Blaze is not getting the use it craves at present! Currently charging as per advice and when charged will wear and sync as you suggest to ascertain the battery life problem. If you can guide me on the other issues too that would be appreciated. The Blaze is only 9 months old and until recently was working fine apart from a few odd calorie and step calculations.
Regards,

Hi there @SteveBG. Welcome to the Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry you're going through this with your tracker 😕
I'd like first to confirm the battery drainage. If you can let me know once you've followed my instructions so that I can check that in the system, I think we don't have to worry about fixing the rest as that will be enough to look for an alternative to get your tracker replaced. Please let me know once your battery dies so that I can check that for you and thanks a lot for your patience with this!
@Char_wan1, Welcome to the Forums as well! 🙂
Were you able to follow the instructions I provided above? If not, please do that and let me know once the battery on your tracker is dead and that way we can move from there.
Anything else you guys may need, I'm here to help!

Hi,
I am also getting poor performance from my Blaze's battery. It is barely lasting a day. I guess I can do the whole "sync every 30 mins" thing, but honestly I don't understand why this would be required, as it sounds to me like enough data should already have found its way to the fitbit servers by now (The issue has been going on for several days).
I used to charge the tracker for about 15 mins in the morning while i was showering. It was more than enough to last until the next day. Now I actually have to let the tracker sit in its craddle for a couple hours while i run errands for it to have enough juice to last the day.
I bought the Blaze on March 1st 2016.
Please advise!

Hi there @Monochino @zxlime, great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry you're having problems with the battery on your trackers not lasting as they should 😕
With a regular usage, it should last for at least 5 days. In your situations, I would recommend following the instructions on my post above and let me know once the battery dies, let me know so that I can forward your cases to the Support Team for them to help you out.
Anything else, I'm here to help!

I'm having a similar problem. Where my Blaze used to give me 4-5 days on a charge now it doesn't even last 24 hours. I have tried everything to reduce battery consumption, even switched off hear rate monitoring.
On top of this the screen becomes totally unresponsive to touch every now and then making it completely useless for anything other than telling the time.
This is not good for a fitness device that is only 6 months old!
