I have had my blaze for a few months. All of the sudden today my screen went black half way through the day and I can see to get it to turn back on. I have tried charging it but that did not help. Any ideas?

Hopefully this is just a software glitch, in which case a restart using the following procedure may kick it back into life:
https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1186/
Give this a few tries though as it's known to not always work. If that doesn't work then it may be a hardware issue. As you will still be covered by warranty the next step would be to contact customer support via this link:
