Blase not listed

I'm trying to setup my Blaze on Windows 10 and it is not listed in the device list in the app on my phone (lumia 735), tablet (Surface Pro4), or laptop.

Though Blaze appeared on the re-install, the app "could not connect to fitbit" to setup the device, so I ended using fitbit connect...glad I still have doggles.

i should have specified...worked on my surface pro. haven't been able to sync yet, and doesn't show on my windows 8.1 phone.

Like the other poster said you need to install the app on your computer.

I am having the same issue on my Windows phone (Lumia 1020). I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and rebooted the phone. The app shows a phantom device without a name is connected to it. I haven't synced it since I set it up on the laptop at about 18 hours ago. I can't get it to sync to the computer or the phone app. This is extremely frustrating, I've been trying anything and everything for almost an hour!

That's only the notifications feature, the same as for all of the other recent trackers.

Still waiting for help. Blaze is not listed as a device to connect to my Fitbit app on my Windows phone (Lumia 1020). Therefore the app won't show steps, mileage or floor stats for today and any previous day. Yes, I can see current day stats on my Blaze itself, but what about prior day stats on the app. I normally use my app only - not a laptop or desktop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, removed my Charge HR as a device since it only wants to sync to it. I rebooted my phone. What else should I do?

If all else is failing @loretta979911 I'd delete the phone app, reboot the 1020, remove the device from the pc app, shut the pc down, download the app from the phone store to your 1020 and start from fresh by adding the Blaze from your phone.

(The Blaze wasn't showing as available device on my 950XL but deleting the app and reinstalling it afresh sorted that out)

I called customer service, the rep put me on hold while he got a Windows phone to assist me. He sees the same thing as me, it isn't listed as a device to add. I can't see my current day or previous days stats on steps, miles and floors. I uninstalled the app while on the phone with him and reinstalled it, same result - no Blaze listed. The rep is going to escalate my case. He believes that they will have to update the app in order to correct the problem. He didn't have a timeline for how long this may take.

My phone is Windows 8.1, I'm glad uninstall and reinstall worked for you, but for my phone and the customer service rep's test phone it didn't work. In fact, he wasn't aware of it being a problem. The ticket was escalated to the engineers. I'm hoping that this issue is corrected soon.

Same problem with my Lumia 735.  Installed / uninstalled the app from the Store 3 times; still does not list the Blaze.  Was able to install from my Windows 10 PC, which was extremely painful and I will not go into that here. After, I was able to snyc the Blaze with my phone, but there is not a name assocaited with the device on the phone app; that description field is blank.

Bottom line is the Windows Phone 8.1 app does not give the option to setup the Blaze.  Will we see an update soon?  Thanx...

Maybe I'm missing something,  but once your Blaze is setup and attached to your Fitbit Account, then on the phone app when logging into the same account your Blaze should be listed, and the App should then know what device to sync with.  No setup should be required.

Regardless, the Blaze still does not show up in a list of installed /  synced devices on my phone like my Charge did. Bottom line is the app does not function as it should. It should be fixed for future customers.  Otherwise, just state that setup is not available on the phone app and must be completed on Windows 10 PC.

The phone app knows that I have a Fitbit device, however instead of showing a picture of a Charge HR and listing that as my device, there is no picture and no label for that device. Because of this, I have to go into settings, click the empty titled device and sync it there. The phone app will not show current or past stats on steps, miles, floors or sleep - those fields are simply not there. If I add my Charge HR back to my phone app, those fields reappear - however, the phone app will want to keep syncing to my Charge HR (which I am not wearing). So unless I wear and keep both devices charged, I am missing quite a lot from the Windows 8.1 phone app. It's as if the phone app isn't aware of the new fitbit device.
