When the new update allowed me to receive notifications from other android apps on my Blaze, I was excited and added a number of apps. I have since decided that I don't want to be notified when every app makes a push to my phone and I have gone into the Fitbit app many times to remove/deselect certain apps and it works fine for a few days to a week, then I start getting the notifications again. I have to constantly go into my Blaze settings and remove/deselect all of the apps to stop receiving notifications and this is only temporary. It is very frustrating. Is there a way to remove these app notifications to my Blaze?

Thanks, I tried searching. I kept seeing posts were people couldn't get their Blaze to sync or where their notifications were not working at all. I also saw one where a person no longer wanted to receive texts or emails. I am not having any of these issues. I don't mind receiving some notification, just not the amount I was receiving before. If you know of any posts similar to mine, can you direct me to those? Again, I am interested in having certain apps to stop sending push notifications to my Blaze. It works for a few days then it goes back to the original list I selected.

Hi @OpheWoo. Welcome to the Community Forums! 🙂
To add to what @Rich_Laue said, I can maybe suggest setting up your tracker as a new device. This could help at the time of deselecting certain apps for them not to enable themselves again.
For setting up your tracker as a new device, go into your app and tap on the Account section at the bottom right corner. Here look for the option that says "Set up a new device" and follow the on-screen instructions until the process has been completed.
After that, go into the third party apps notifications section and deselect the apps you don't want to receive notifications from and see if that works. Something else you can try is force quitting the Fitbit app and opening it again, deselect the apps you don't want to see there and see how it goes.
