Blaze Classic not functioning properly

I hope this hasn't been asked before. I looked around but couldn't find any results on this problem.

So I've been trying to use my Fitbit Blaze for Music Controls. I go through the instructions, pair the device with tge Classic for the Music Controls. Then I open my Spotify so I can enjoy some music on my walks. However, I only get one interaction (Play/Pause, Back, Forward, or Volume Control), before the screen on my Fitbit goes back and forth between "Connecting" and "Loading Music". I try not to have to pull out my phone while walking to make sure I don't accidentally go into the street so this function on my Blaze is very helpful to have work properly.

Hi there @RichardHannah. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with the MusicControl feature on your tracker 😕

It's strange that it's just letting you use it once before going to the Connecting/Loading Music screen. What I would suggest is to go to the Bluetooth Settings on your phone and here, look for Blaze Classic. Tap on it and choose the Forget this device option. After this, reboot the bluetooth and restart your tracker. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

After that, go to the last screen on your tracker, tap on Settings, then go to the Bluetooth option, make sure that Bluetooth Classic is enabled and then go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone, look for Blaze Classic and try to pair it again.

After this, see how it goes and see if it works better. Please let me know how it goes!

Thank you the advice. I didn't know I couod restart the Blaze by holding those buttons. I always went to Settings and clicked Shutdown from there.

However, it still didn't work. I followed the instructions, then set up my Spotify with a playlist I use and tried letting it play a few before trying to skip. Unfortunately, it went right back to the same thing in not even ten seconds.
