Yesterday I was on a walk, tracking this activity on my Fitbit Blaze. From my phone's app I chose a new clock face for my device. I know this causes the Fitbit to restart, but I was under the assumption it would at least wait until my workout was complete. It did not, it force-restarted the device to apply the new clock face, and I lost half the miles of my workout. In my opinion, the app should check the activity status of the tracker before issuing the command to restart. If the device is actively tracking a workout, it should refuse the restart command. The mobile app should not be able to interfere with the Fitbit device tracking a workout.

I wondering why anybody would decide to change a setting whole recording a walk?
