Blaze Discontinued

I just got done chatting with Fitbit because my Blaze stopped working after 29 months of use.  They first offered me a 20% discount on another Fitbit product, and later stepped that up to 40%.  However, I asked it be applied for a replacement Blaze and was told they couldn't because the Blaze is being discontinued.
Some of us can only use certain Fitbit products at work due to the nature of our work, so their offer was empty to me.
29 months of use and then the product dies?  And no compensation?  C'mon Fitbit, I surely hope you can do better!

Just curious, what is unique about the Blaze that it can be worn at your work, but not other Fitbit models?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

My employer has a list of approved devices that can, and cannot be worn. This is one of the approved. The newer improved devices have not yet been approved.
