So, the update for these features was due to be released "sometime in February."
I'm looking at the calendar, and it looks like time is almost up. Any updates?

There does seem to be a fair disconnect between the marketing and software development departments. One makes claims the other rarely seems to meet - although that isn't really surprising.
Wonder when the update (without new watch faces) will appear on mine - hopefully before my partner gets her new Charge 2!

As was explained already, the clock faces, and credit score will be released after the firmware has been released to all. I think this is to prevent the fiasco that occurred during the last update, she's there where trackers that lost the ability to display a clock.

My blaze was going through the update last night and now it won't work! It won't charge, sync or turn on at all. There is a gray rectangle flashing on my dashboard in the top left corner, what happened!!'n

Can ypu expand more on this ? Is it mentioned officially on this that the clock faces will follow the current firmware update. If yes, did they provide any tentative date and can you point me to the link where they said this.

I used to work in software development and we would often listen to the marketing guys telling clients about this amazing thing we were working on and we all look at each other because hes just talking BS. They then sell something which doesnt exist.

Hi,
I have a Fitbit blaze, as does my sister. Yesterday she asked if I had the newest update with VO2 score etc, which is the version above. I haven't and there are no new updates available for mine. I have loiled this up and it said the new update was rolled out 20th March and all users should have in the next few weeks. My question is, why do some have it now and others have to wait??? We got our trackers at the same time.

I believe they do this so that if there are any problems with the update they can make changes before everyone receives it. I did receive the update this time and don't have any problems, but with the previous update I didn't receive it right away (and I'm glad) because there were several reported problems.

I have had this screen since last year. What's new about this? Can anyone who has not updated see this? I don't see anything different.

screen since I connected my Blaze last December. I did have an HR 2 before I owned the Blaze, so maybe it was leftover from that. Not sure.

There are actually many reasons that they do it this way. First of all, rolling out is necessary so that they don't overtax their servers. Also, in the past they've majorly screwed up their updates, so doing it this way allows them to discover problems on small groups of people so that they can fix them before it hits the masses. Last time there were people complaining for the opposite reason.
As far as keeping the site updated, last time they updated the sign a full month or so ahead of when the update actually ended up hitting the devices. They appear to have changed the policy, and I appreciate it. (Once again, if you go back and look at the thread from the past update you will see that there were people complaining about the opposite problem.)
Dang it Fitbit, can't you do anything right? You're darned if you do, darned if you don't.

It's a sign of bad management, and the sad misunderstanding of software development as an industry. People have no respect for software developers. "What, aren't you just typing stuff? It can't be that hard?" Unrealistic deadlines are set, and colleges pump out really, really bad developers for really, really cheap so the decent ones can't keep a job. As far as the employer's concerned, they produce the same thing. As far as the consumer is concerned, they produce buggy crud.
There's my rant of the day.
