From what I read on these forums it looks add of Fitbiy released the update to another batch yesterday. Unless your some odd the few users experience problems this update addresses, I don't think you'll notice a difference.

I did get the update. And now my Blaze no longer syncs with my phone. Thanks Fitbit!
And more clock faces please!

Its been 24 hours and mine still no longer syncs with my phone, tablet or computer. No amout of resets to the Blaze, phone, tablet or computer does anything.

And like I mentions in a previous post, the Blaze displays 17.8.104.1 as the firmware number, but the app says its still on the previous version. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. No change. I've even pulled out my previous phone and installed the app. Still doesn't work.

Good thing I kept the original packaging and receipt from Best Buy.

Hey @KLizzle dos you restart your tracker as the update procedure suggested of the tracker isn't responding correctly?

I find vibration a little too loud when compared to the Surge. Maybe a result of the Blaze being installed in a cradle within the strap and Surge being single sealed unit.

@Hcarlson That ounds like and service/app issue and not a tracker issue. Have you tried an online chat with the support team. Not wanting to rub salt into the wounds, but I am connected, so maybe it is either a localised or recent service bug. I would suggest a web chat. It's quicker.

I have not had any issues with syncing since the update.  Sounds like an isolated issue.  Try the usual steps of resetting the Blaze, removing the Blaze from the Fitbit app, turning off bluetooth on your phone, and going back through the setup to re-add the Blaze.  Should only take a couple minutes.

I've not had any issues with mine either.  It's all working flawlessly.  If you're having issues, I would shutdown the Blaze, turn off Bluetooth, remove the Blaze from the app, shutdown the phone, restart everything and pair the Blaze to the app and see what happens.  You might also try uninstalling the app altogether and re-installing it before pairing the Blaze again.

Would love an inactivity alert! My friend has a Samsung watch that just told him he wasn't active.

Isn't the Hourly Activity data display on the dashboard new? I don't recall seeing it before. I like the idea of a minimum 250 steps every hour - it could be any number of steps, with associated rationales/justifications, but we still need an hourly notification of some sort. I can set silent alarms, but we are permitted on 8 alarms. Too restrictive for those of us with 13 active hours every day.
I truly am sympathetic to all you folks who are having so much trouble with your silent alarms. I was just lucky in my purchase, I guess. My works excellently, and I have come to rely on it a good deal to pace my day, and receive notification from my spouse, and daughter at school. I really hope they fix this soon for the rest of you. It is a great feature when working correctly.
