The following steps should help with getting the Golf exercise shortcut on your Blaze to display on-device fitness stats:

1. Remove the Golf exercise from your Blaze's shortcuts. Click here for instructions.

2. Sync your tracker.

3. Re-add Golf to your Blaze.

4. Sync again.

Keep me posted if this helps!

The first thing to try when a fitbit misbehaves is a restart using this procedure:

I have the same issue on my Blaze Golf exercise. It used to track heartbeat, steps, and calories but now it does nothing.  It is also happening with my Surge.

If you guys have tried the restart procedure linked above it might be worth trying it a few more times as it's known to not always work.

The restart procedure is usually the best bet for these types of problems. If it's not working for you though then there are a few more suggestions in this help file:

If that doesn't help then you may need to try customer support again. If you are within warranty and they can't fix then they normally offer to replace it.

My Blaze is doint the same thing, no info display in the golf app, only a timer counting how long I've played.  It worked fine last week, no this.  I contacted Customer Support via the chat line and all they suggested was the restart and when that didn't work to redo the startup procedure for the Blaze with my account.  That did not work either.  Since all the other apps I use work fine I am left to assume there is a glitch in the golf app and hope that a future firmware upgrade will fix it.

PS:  Even though the app does not display info on the phone it still syncs and calories, steps and time are recorded in the activities log.

Hi Ed

Thank you very much - I will try it this weekend and if it logs the steps then I am not going to worry about it. And hopefully by the next firmware update it will be fixed

I have had the same problem with the golf app, tried restarting loads of times app and Blaze to no avail.  Reported to Fitbit they have sent a replacement still the same only time elapsed no steps, time of day pace heartbeat etc.  Reported to support again they said some **ahem** and bull story about Golf is the only exercise that shows only time elapsed how come it worked fine from July 2016 to January 2017. It has to be something to do with the app update!!! I have two colleagues whose Blazes are working fine in the Golf app, but for how long I don't know. I'm 68 years of age and golf is my main exercise now, so the Blaze is useless in this form. I'm telling everyone who wants it to use it for golf don't buy it.
