Blaze HR Monitor Stopped Working

The other day I noticed my heart rate information for the day was very sporadic with large chunks of the day showing no heart rate information at all.  I restarted the Blaze and also fully charged it.  HR monitor started working again for a brief time, then went sporadic and ultimately stopped working altogether.  The lights on the back do not even flicker any more.  I have been unable to get it work again.  Any thoughts?

Oh dear, just had something similar with mine.

The heart rate monitor has always been next to useless. I improved it a bit by setting it to "on" instead of the auto setting.

Tonight I was out walking and I noticed on the main clock screen it was reporting 70bpm and not changing at all. I thought that was odd as I go very fast and usually over 100. I switched to "today" and just had "--" so the monitor obviously wasn't working and the main screen was just stuck on 70.

I reset the device and moved it up my arm and to my other arm etc but nothing fixed it. I nearly threw it on the floor but in the end just got on with my walk. Smiley Mad After 55 minutes it suddenly started working again!

To be honest I'd rather it hadn't started working as I've had enough and would like to take it back for a refund!

So fingers crossed that mine goes the same way as yours! My lights were flickering throughout so if forcing yours to "on" doesn't work I'd say it is proper busted!

A quick update.  I called customer service who had me restart the Blaze a couple different ways.  It did not fix the issue so they are replacing it under warranty.

Thanks for the update @csbhockey

When it arrives, set it up as a replacement on an existing account.

Meanwhile, you can keep adding steps by manually logging walks on the dashboard.

I've had now three different fit bits, they all failed and I'm done with Fitbit. Three strikes and you're out

This is my 4th Fitbit.  I was ecstatic to get my FB Blaze, but recently was checking my sleep pattern and heart rate and notice that there was no new data.  The lights are not blinking.  I think I may be going to a different make since 3 of the 4 FB had to be replaced.

It's great to welcome you @mwashington. I would like to know if you have already tried any type of troubleshoot? If you haven't, I recommend restarting your Blaze. Also, please check that your heart rate settings are in "Auto" or "On".

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy
