Blaze HR and battery issues

About a week ago overnight my Blaze stopped monitoring HR and was out of charge within a day of being fully charged. Have tried restarting it several times after which HR detection comes back for a short while (less than an hour) and only at a specific point on my wrist. My Blaze is only a few months old (March 2018) and have had no problems with it at all until now, so have no idea where to go from here about getting it fixed/ replaced.

I appreciate the details you've mentioned and the troubleshoot performed. I've checked with Customer Support and they've mentioned that you already have a case with them, I know they will be glad to provide you with a solution.
