Blaze HR is reading incorrectly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Blaze is reading my resting HR at approx 50+ bpm higher than what it actually is when the HR setting is in "on" mode and not reading HR at all when the HR setting is in "auto" mode. I have tried restarting, rebooting, changing the HR settings to off, auto, on. I have also tried changing the position on my arm to higher, lower, tighter, looser, and to the inside of my wrist.  Please help. I am very disappointed because this is causing my calorie burning estimates to be wrong and my activity level to be wrong.

Thank you,

Danielle

Have you tried to clean the sensor?

I did wipe it off several times with a dry cloth. It does not appear to be dirty. Are there any other ways of cleaning it?

Thanks

Danielle

I haven't cleaned mine yet, only had it a few weeks. I used to clean my Microsoft Band with a diluted alcohol wipe

A warm welcome to the Forums @DaniMarie5243, thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself and @RonWH for stopping by.

If you are having issues recording your heart rate information, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy
