Blaze Stopped Synching

A few days before Christmas, my Blaze stopped synchronizing. I made numerous attempts to restart Bluetooth etc. Nothing worked.

 

I have an S8 Samsung which comes with something called Bixby. I have no use for it and do not bother to use it -- like many others apparently. Therefore I was ignoring the notices to update Bixby.

 

Eventually, I did and my Samsung resumed communication with my Blaze. However, not all my fields have the correct data. If I go backwards to past days, I find that though my steps update correctly, other fields such as amount of water consumed, sleep time and more remain the same for numerous days.

 

I wish I could get rid of Bixby. Anyway, if you have and S8, you might try updating Bixby if all else fails.
