Blaze Syncing without Phone

Hi,

 

I am currently at work, my phone is at home as I forgot to pick it up this morning and somehow my steps for the day have been synced with my FitBit account. How is this possible?

 

I haven't linked my blaze to my laptop via bluetooth but I have plugged it in to charge in the past but not today.

If one of your colleagues is a fellow fitbit user and has the fitbit connect software and wireless dongle installed on their computer then it will sync any fitbit that comes within range. It only acts as a gateway between your fitbit and the fitbit servers and it will not have any access to your data.

Ah okay that makes sense. My colleague has a blaze too and we're in a work week hustle so maybe that's how.
