Blaze Text Notifications

My Fitbit Blaze (so stoked to finally have it!!!) notifications are on and the text message option is set to "message+" which is the app I use... the TXT notification comes through to the device but only by identifying the name of the sender and "1 new message"... I've pressed every and all the buttons and I'm unable to open the message fully and read the actual text, I've even tried test runs sending texts to myself and still no luck... HELP!

hmm....did you run that update that had about a week or 2 weeks ago?

I did an update but i think it was longer than 2 weeks ago? is there a way to do another update?

No, mine is still not working.... I even tried to 'reset' the Blaze and it still just gives me the '1 new message' it will not let me read the text.

well that stinks.  I don't know what I did differntly other than that update done weeks ago.  I just noticed just now that it started working and I could read my messages.

Hey everyone.. So I've been going bonkers with this same situation, and finally came up with the solution after reading threadt after thread.. You have to use your SMS messanger with Google Hangouts.. It's unfortunate that this is the only solution for now, but this appears to be the only way this is working.

Initially when I recveived two messages at a time from the same person, it would say "2 messages". So I started researching and reading these threads, and set Google Hangouts as my messaging default. After testing this new strategy with my friend (who texted me three times in a row), I can now read each message.

Mine works with Message + and I don't have to use hang outs and i get my
messages now 🙂

Mine does work now, unless the sender sends 2 consecutive messages

Mine was working great until yesterday. All settings on iPhone correct but blaze says All caught up! No notifications. I have had three on phone just this morning and nothing on blaze.

Samsung g4 cant see the text or who it is from. Just says I have a new message & won't expand.

Messages is selected, bluetooth paired fine & do not disturb is not on. Help!

Not sure what to tell you. Mine just magically started to work. Mage sure you are up to date. I've had to restart my phone a couple of times because it has guit working.

Which messaging app are you using @PhoenixEmber? Have you checked the notifavation settings in the messaging app?
How do your messages show up on the lock screen of the G4

I started using Google messenger. That's what worked for me and I have the
S4. Just restart after you change
