Blaze accuracy

I've noticed that my Blaze isn't accurately counting steps.  I've had to walk almost twice as long as I normally do to get my daily steps in.  Tonight, I counted 200 steps, but my Blaze only credited me with less than 40.  Is there something I need to do to reset my device?

How are you wearing it? Are you holding on to something? As it will not count steps when holding on. It needs to see the arms swinging

Restart

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.

When you say that you walked 200 steps, was this a straight walk outside?

You could soft restart the tracker by holding in the left and lower right buttons. Or do a hard shutdown through the settings menu, the start by pi pressing any button.
