I'm talking about all the features of the blaze. Music, gps, notifications etc...are people still having problems with the blaze and the s7edge?

Well I can control music on my S7 with the Blaze, get notifications and the connected gps works fine. So I'm not sure to what issues you are alluding.

@Im022352 A warm welcome to the Community! Currently, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge isn't in the list of supported devices.  So, as @nlmux mentioned he's using the phone and Fitbit and it's working properly but I can't confirm it will work all the time or it will sync as it should because it's not listed yet so our engineers may be testing it.

@SunsetRunner Thanks for your input.

Just got a Galaxy S7Edge and didn't realize that my new blaze was going to have a problem syncing with it.  Now I am really mad!  I just spent lots of money on Fitbit now and over the years and also on phones.  Please get this fixed as soon as possible.  I want to be able to use this on my phone.

I just switched from iphone 6 to Samsung Galaxy s7 about 2 weeks ago and my blaze does not work consistently since the switch. After playing with numerous settings and rebooting both devices it seems to sync and the gps is now working. However notifications are hit and miss and music controls do not work at all. I have read through many posts on here dating back to spring 2016 and see that compatibility is being tested, looked into, worked on etc..... thats great but nowhere is there a timeline or definitive answer as to whether or not this will or will not be fixed and its now fall 2016. Notifications and music control was the main reason to upgrade from charge hr to blaze and now I cant use them. If anyone knows if this issue will actually be fixed please share what info you have...... if it will not be fixed I would at least like to be told so i can look at other trackers which I would obviously rather not do

@SunsetRunner Hey there! Thank you so much for your feedback. Fitbit is always adding new devices. Some mobile devices may sync occasionally but some features may not work just because it hasn't been fully tested as it's not in the list.

@jenn1983 Welcome to the Community! Thanks for sharing your experience. Currently, Samsung Galaxy S7 isn't supported. As you mentioned, it has been syncing properly but the other features haven't; the reason why it's because the mobile device isn't listed as supported and it hasn't been fully tested.

Thank you for your understanding.

Strange thing, it actually finally started syncing all by itself. I didn't do anything. It also gets my texts and let's me know when a call is coming through.

I just got a fitbit blaze for Christmas. I love it but everything works except for my notifications. I've reset my phone, the fitbit, uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times but everytime I try to go my notifications to enable them on the app, the app stops working.  I've enabled all permissions, notification services, and push notifications on both the app and my S7 edge. Can someone help me?

Allow me to help you @mabaluyut22! Thanks for the troubleshoot that you've done. You should receive notifications in your Blaze because it's listed as supported. Please confirm that you did this procedure to set them

If you did but you're still not getting the notifications, check this requirements

Hope this helps.

Hi! Yes I did everything according to the procedure shown and more. I manually enabled all the permissions and notification service as well but everytime I try to go on the notification options on the app somehow the app stops working. It keeps telling me "unfortunately fitbit has stopped working." I think it's just not supporting my phone software. I tried to sync my blaze on an old Samsung note 3 and it works perfectly, but when I resync everything to my Samsung S7 edge it doesn't work. What should I do now? Thank you for taking the time to help me. I look forward to your reply

Thanks for the details that you mentioned @mabaluyut22! This seems pretty weird because you mentioned you're able to receive notifications while using your Samsung Note 2. In this case, I would like you to contact Customer Support so they can further assist you.

Hope this helps!

I am having problems getting my S7 GPS to connect to my Blaze.  I have set Location to On and the locating method to high accuracy.  What am I missing?

It's great to have you here @MarkB802! I would like you to provide me with more details about the inaccuracy you're getting. Is your Blaze not connecting to your app? Is it showing you any error message? I would like you to confirm you're following this procedure to properly use connected GPS

Keep me posted.
